Summary: Megaclub dance music for circuit parties
Comment: Offer is part of a dying bred: DJs that can and will make music for the massive crowds of national and international circuit parties. Not content with the blaring soulless techno that unfortunately fills too many big parties, Nissim takes a detailed approach like Danny Tenaglia (live at Vinyl) did back in the day, or Junior Vasquez did (at Twilo) before he got too big for us "little people." Recall the amazing work they were doing for Madonna's "Bedtime Stories" cd in the mid-90s. Offer picks up the baton well with incredibly innovative and energetic remixes that demonstrate his raw creative talent.
Most of the tracks on the cds are 'screaming divas,' and that's okay if you like that -- many do. But what makes this set special is that he strips the music down to its component parts then rebuilds into a distinctly Offer Nissim image. You can tell his music in a crowd of other screaming diva one-offs. He far surpasses the second generation of amazing circuit DJs such as Rauhofer, Lehman, Calderone, Moran or Abel. He has his own sound and it's big! He loves the rolling drums, ethnic flourishes, and obscure bits of vocals that add layering and detail to his work.
"Forever Tel Aviv" has tremendously 'big sound,' tailor-made for large clubs of people dancing themselves into a frenzy. It's so rare, but SO much fun! "Be My Boyfriend" is a classic example of Nissim offering pretty delicate female vocals, mixed with thumping, throbbing beats, horns and drums that are perfectly juxtaposed to create a truly original yet familiar dance experience. The remix (remake) of Angie Stone's "I Wish I Didn't Miss You" and Beyonce's "Deja Vu" get energetic and powerful Nissim treatment.
Not every track wins on so many levels (and some tracks are forgettable), but for a good circuit session (or maybe even during your gym workout), this is house music must have.

Summary: Fusion dance music at its best!
Comment: A recent dance party in Sydney introduced me to "Offer Nissim".
This DJ is a born entertainer! He not only engages with the dance crowd but knows what dancers expect of a DJ. This album was certainly no disappointment after watching him live. Offer Nissim has that unique blend of tech no/house music and Arabic beats you cannot sit still listening to these tracks. Offer Nissim is definitely up there with DJ's such as Tiesto!
You won't be disappointed.

Comment: This is a great mix featuring many prominent artists. Very smooth transitions and nice remixes by Offer Nissim. This double CD Mix Compilation is really priceless.

Summary: If you're looking for sought after Nissim mixes of Beyonce, Summer, Aguilera......
Comment: With a huge underground club following, Nissim delivers hard beats...more than vocals in this case. But even so, for vocal lovers, there is reason enough to buy this disc--most of the vocals are on disc 1, while disc 2 is saved for tribal and electro beats. Many of Nissims remixes of big dance artists are here (Beyonce, Kristine W, Christina Aguilera, Angie Stone, Donna Summer!!!), most over 6 minutes in length. Many of these mixes were never released commercially, so this is the only way to get these songs on CD. Also, I know it's his own disc, but it seems like overkill to put so many of his tracks with Maya from his own album, because they were all released as CD singles and naturally his fans will already have them (same goes for the Suzanne Palmer tracks). No doubt, it would have been better for Nissim to release a 2-disc compilation of his own full-length, non-beat mixed, unreleased remixes, but I'll take this if that isn't going to happen.

Summary: Amazing!!
Comment: This release is one of the best housemusic releases I've heard in YEARS!! I didn't want the music to end, just one slammin' song after another. Lots of great vocals. A must have cd for clubheads.
